Prior to founding APWG, Glenn enjoyed a successful career in the technology industry where he was responsible for developing and marketing computer products globally, as well as helping expand two small Canadian firms into multinational companies.

Glenn is a graduate of McGill University’s professional business management program. He is a registered portfolio manager in Ontario, Alberta, Quebec, British Columbia and Nova Scotia, holds a Chartered Investment Management (CIM) designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). Glenn is an avid reader of all things financial, a hiker and nature lover, and enjoys playing the guitar. He and his wife and business partner of 25 years, Zaida, also enjoy travel and time with family and friends.

As a partner at APWG, Sajjad provides professional advisory services in the capacity of a Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor across the firm’s entire family of clients. Working alongside Glenn, Sajjad oversees all aspects of APWG client portfolios, with a focus on investment management, and financial and estate planning. Glenn and Sajjad combine their professional expertise and experience to ensure that every client’s short- and long-term needs are proactively reviewed on a predefined, rotating schedule.

Sajjad holds a B.Comm from Royal Roads University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, CFP®. Richard will be spearheading the branch’s strategic initiatives; while also being responsible for managing the day to day governance and operations. Richard was formerly Head of Structured Products for Manulife; and brings over 14 years of investment product development and strategy implementation in the asset management space.

At Manulife, Richard oversaw the product development and management of a portfolio of different investment vehicles which included managed programs, structured notes, closed-end funds, and other alternative investments for retail investors.

Prior to Manulife, Richard was Product Manager and Head of Advisor Products for Morningstar Canada where he was responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of different investment research and portfolio building tools deployed by Canadian Banks, life insurance companies, and asset managers for their advisors and investors. Richard started his investment career in the private equity space being responsible for the product development and management of venture capital and private equity funds.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Information Systems and Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal. He and his wife Alex reside in North York, are avid world travelers and enjoy practicing martial arts in their spare time.

Nathan advises on a full spectrum of tax and related issues, with specialized knowledge in transactions related to family succession planning, corporate reorganizations, Wills and estates, estate administration, family trusts, life insurance, and tax dispute resolution. Nathan regularly meets with business owners, accountants, financial planners, and other lawyers to discuss planning opportunities that may be available to them or their clients.

She has been critical to the success of the group and has helped build the company from the ground up. Zaida brings over 27 years of Business, HR and Administrative Management experience to the group. Zaida and Glenn Allen are married and have worked together as a couple for 25 years. In their spare time they enjoy spending time with their family and friends. They are avid readers and enjoy hiking and international travel.

Noah spends his free time enjoying several pastimes. He is interested in history and is also learning to speak Mandarin. He plays drums and unwinds at the gym after a long day at the office.

Reema works closely with the leadership team to introduce new initiatives and to ensure that the scope and direction of each project allows the group to continue to be atop of industry trends. She oversees the planning, implementation and tracking of specific short-term and long term projects. She is both a strategic thinker and capable of detailed execution of anything she touches. When she isn’t working she enjoys being immersed in the world of confectionary art.
